Overview

Family offices and UHNWI principals already treat me as a third seat at the table alongside their CPA and estate attorney for due diligence. This service extends that same relationship to document execution: powers of attorney, trust instruments, real estate closings, and business formation documents that need to be signed, witnessed, and notarized correctly — often on short notice, and often for a principal who can't make it to a notary's office.

I travel to the principal, the family office, or the attorney's office. And because my background is investigative rather than clerical, I bring a level of judgment a walk-in notary doesn't: an eye for whether a signer actually understands and freely intends what they're signing, which matters most with elderly principals, contested estates, or high-value transactions where a challenged signature is expensive to unwind later.

What's Included

• In-person mobile notarization — acknowledgments, jurats, and oaths — at a location of your choosing
• Apostille coordination through the Florida Department of State for documents notarized in Florida that will be used in a Hague Convention country
• Execution support for powers of attorney, trusts and estate planning instruments, real estate closing documents, and business formation records
• Capacity and undue-influence awareness when notarizing for elderly or vulnerable principals — flagged and referred to counsel when something looks off, never diagnosed or adjudicated by me
• Scheduling coordinated directly with the principal's family office staff, attorney, or CPA so the appointment fits around existing counsel

This page covers in-person notarization only. I'm not yet a certified Remote Online Notary (RON), so fully remote/online notarizations aren't offered here yet.

How It Works

1. You reach out — directly, or through your family office contact — with the document type and timing.
2. I confirm requirements: which signers, what ID they'll bring, and whether an apostille will be needed afterward.
3. I travel to the agreed location — home, office, or your attorney's conference room — at the scheduled time.
4. Documents are executed and notarized on the spot, with discretion appropriate to the setting.
5. If an apostille is required, I submit the notarized document to the Florida Department of State and return the authenticated document to you once it's processed.

Pricing & Next Step

For Advisory and Chambers retainer clients, notary concierge visits are included as part of the relationship — ask your SAS Intel contact. For everyone else, a concierge visit is billed as a flat appointment fee covering travel and scheduling, plus Florida's statutory notarial fee per signature; apostille submission is billed separately at cost plus a coordination fee. Exact figures depend on location and document volume — I'll quote before I travel.
