Intelligence Veterans.
Private Sector Mission.
SAS Intel was built on a single premise: the private sector deserves the same caliber of intelligence the national security community relies on. Not frameworks. Not dashboards. Intelligence — produced by operators who have done this work at the highest levels of the U.S. government and are now doing it for you.
Built by Operators.
Not Consultants.
SAS Intel was founded in 2024 by Richard Frederick — a U.S. Army combat intelligence veteran, Bronze Star recipient, and former Defense Intelligence Agency professional with over 15 years operating inside the U.S. Intelligence Community. The firm was built on one observation: private sector organizations face the same quality of threats that national security agencies face, but without access to the same quality of intelligence.
Standard advisory firms bring frameworks. Consulting companies bring methodologies and staffed teams of generalists. SAS Intel brings something different — the tradecraft, the databases, the analytical discipline, and the operational experience of an intelligence professional who has produced assessments for the President of the United States, CENTCOM, the CIA, the FBI, and senior defense leadership.
The SAS Intel team combines backgrounds in military intelligence, federal cyber operations, and financial advisory — a deliberately assembled capability set that mirrors the multi-discipline nature of the risks our clients face. When an organization comes to SAS Intel, it isn't buying a report. It's buying a team that has operated under conditions where being wrong had consequences.
That standard hasn't changed. The client has.
To deliver national-security grade intelligence to the private sector — closing the gap between the threats organizations face and the analytical capability they have to address them.
What Sets Us Apart
Operators, Not Academics
Every SAS Intel principal has produced intelligence under real-world conditions — not as a researcher or a framework author, but as an analyst accountable to decision-makers where the cost of being wrong was measurable and immediate.
Intelligence, Not Consulting
Consultants produce frameworks. Intelligence professionals produce assessments. The distinction matters: assessments are built to support a specific decision, not to document a process or demonstrate a methodology.
Licensed & Regulated
SAS Intel is licensed and certified as an active Florida Private Investigation Agency — one of the few intelligence advisory firms operating under a formal investigative regulatory framework. Not a certification. A state license with legal authority and professional accountability.
Deliberate Team Architecture
Military intelligence, federal cyber operations, and financial advisory under one engagement structure. Built this way intentionally — because the risks organizations face don't arrive in discipline-specific silos.
Confidentiality By Design
Every SAS Intel engagement is governed by a signed confidentiality agreement before any substantive conversation begins. Deliverables are encrypted. Nothing is retained post-delivery. The standard we apply to your information is the one we were trained to apply to classified material.
Veteran-Owned & Certified
SAS Intel is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Our principals served. The discipline, the commitment to mission, and the standard of analytical rigor carried from that service into every private sector engagement we take on.
The Principals Behind the Work
Every SAS Intel engagement is led by a named principal with verifiable credentials. You know who is doing the work.
Richard Frederick
I built SAS Intel because the private sector faces real threats and deserves real intelligence — not slide decks and frameworks produced by people who have never been accountable for a wrong assessment. My career has been built on that accountability.
Over 15 years as a U.S. Army intelligence analyst, DIA policy advisor, and federal cyber operations lead, I produced targeting profiles for Special Operations missions, briefed senior defense leadership and the President on strategic intelligence, and led cybersecurity operations protecting the nation's missile defense architecture. I then spent five years at Deloitte translating that intelligence discipline into enterprise risk advisory for federal, state, and institutional clients.
The private sector version of this work is SAS Intel. The methodology doesn't change. The mission doesn't change. The client does.
Christopher Turner
A U.S. Army veteran and Bronze Star recipient with extensive experience in signals intelligence, geopolitical risk assessments, and operational intelligence support. Christopher brings deep military intelligence tradecraft and private sector consulting experience to SAS Intel engagements — providing analytical depth across geopolitical risk, executive vetting, and strategic threat assessment.
Tsar Lamour
A finance and technology professional with a background spanning IT systems administration, real estate investment operations, and financial accounting. Tsar brings analytical precision and financial intelligence capability to SAS Intel engagements — supporting financial due diligence, investment advisory, and organizational financial risk assessment.
